Best Dada Ever
I was late coming home from work the other day. I called PK as I was leaving the office as I always do to see if he needed anything. I could hear Boosch in the background whining and crying. She hasn't been feeling well and was fussier than normal. I tried giving PK ideas to help but he had tried everything. I hung up and sped home as fast as I could. When I walked in the door, I found a very happy baby. She was in the thick of a plasma car race, while "women no cry" played throughout the house. Dada knew just what to do.

Father's Day Eve
When you're as great of a father as PK3 you get two father's days - and it's still not enough to show how much we appreciate him. Today we celebrated at the La Costa Father's Day BBQ.

Plan B
We were super bummed to hear that the steam engine was down for repairs for the whole YEAR while we were at Disney. We did however, manage to track down the Engineer and bother him for a bit ☺️.
Building Monster Trucks
One of the highlights from Q's Disney birthday was building his own $117 Remote control monster truck... I have to admit, the whole thing was pretty cool.

3 Year Check Up
Q was not happy about going to the Doc today but he did great! He was stoked that he got to pee in a cup and even got to see a spider... Whatever works!
And the best part... A perfectly good clean bill of health.
He's 26.5 pounds and 3 feet tall!

What a Weekend
It was one of those special weekends. The kind when you barely have any plans, everyone is healthy and happy and even the weather is cooperating. Sunday was extra special. Q and Isla go to the Botanical Gardens and parks all the time with Luz and lately Q has been asking us to take him to these places so we packed the Gardens AND a park trip with neighbors into one day. It was a blast... Exhausting but so worth it. Q found a special "trail" at the Gardens that we walked through a ton of times. Daddy kept hiding in different places and jumping out to scare us like a bear. This isn't even one of the official attractions but the kids absolutely loved it. Here's Daddy with them in one of his hiding places.
