Isla wanted to do a performance for me today. She got everything all ready for me:

-Two stools slid over from the kitchen. The extra one is so I can put my feet up.

-My slippers

-A blanket

-A bottle of water

-Cheese - she has it in her mind that I eat cheese every night. I’m not sure this is true, could be - regardless, I think it’s hilarious and super sweet.

Sad ending- I had a late call with India and by the time I got down, she was too tired to perform .

Mom fail 

But yes brainiac I’m raising a pretty rad little girl so I’ll take that win.

Halloween 2020

We didn’t plan much because we didn’t want to get everyone excited and then have to walk our plans back. We woke up on Halloween without costumes as we had said we would find stuff in our closets the day of. I think not worked

Out pretty well. We hung out in the cup-de-sac, there were haunted houses, little grab bags of candy for the kids, glow bracelets and sparkelers. It was different but perfect.
