Girly Girl

It's so fun having a girl- especially one with really long, pretty hair. I have a lot to learn about what to do with it... for now I'll let the nannies help!

Strollin' home

Strollin' home from breakfast with full tummies, new hats, candies and a stroller for three. We sure do love where we live!

Mid week ice cream

Tonight was so perfect that it felt like a Saturday.

HFD

Happy Father's Day to the best out there. We're so lucky you're driving our ship PKM3. I hope you know how much you mean to us- not only today but every day and every little, sometimes nutty, sometimes unbearable minute of everyday.

Thanks for all you do for our little crew.

Slumber party with Grandma

Yes we have more beds- many in fact, but they all wanted to sleep together. I got more sleep this weekend than I have in the past 4 years of weekends put together!! Thanks Mom!

San Diego Fair

Isla's first pony ride- she loved it!!

Q thought he was driving the whole train of trucks around the track- he took it so seriously!

Quattro is Quattro

Happy number 4 PKM the 4th. We had a great day celebrating you. You climbed into our bed around 1:00am. I said ... "Happy Birthday Q! I can't believe you're 4 already!" And you said "but we can still cuddle up, right? Let's do that." So of course we did that for the rest of the night.

We started the morning with gifts, balloons, sparkling grape juice and donuts. Then you wanted to go to school (what?!) so we sent you with some cookies that Daddy made to share with your class. We p coed toubulbearly and Mommy and Daddy took you to your first movie- we saw Capatian Underpants, ordered everything you wanted and you sat on my lap the whole time.

We had a water balloon fight, took a quick dip in the pool- you can't stay out of the water?'n for dinner, We went to La Costa, had cake and ice cream (Isla blew your candles out -she's so fast! So we had to relight them) and then played games in the game room and had had s'mores. We ended the night playing some of the games you got earlier. I think it was perfect and you seemed really happy too.

I know I say it all the time, but I am constantly in awe of the little guy you are. You are so special to everyone who kows you. These 4 years have been so full of love and I can't wait to see what comes as you continue to grow. We love you Manji!!!

Disney Part Deux

It is safe to say that we had a BLAST at Disney for birthdays 2/4. We stayed at the California Grand on the Club Level. The kids loved running around the club and getting snacks. We were going to do to the pools one day and the parks another but it was freeeeezing (for us) so we did two days of parks and snuck back to the hotel for a little pool the second day when the sun finally peeked through.

The kids were fearless! We rode Pirates of The Carribean, The Haunted Mansion and so many more rides! Q's favorite was Midway Mania and Isla loved The Little Mermaid. She got to ride two times while Q took a nap the first day. The second day, she was so excited to take him on it. She held
His hand the whole way in line and kept stopping to hug him and pat his back. She was so cute and sweet and proud that she had something to show him for once.

We watched two parades and the fireworks, bought tons on souvenirs and ate a week's worth of junk food! The last night we rented the Brave Little Toaster and had a popcorn and movie night in the hotel.

It was perfect.

Happy birthday to my two littles, I love you more than I ever thought possible. Each day with you is a treasure. I am so happy that I get to be your Mom.

Here is Isla showing Q the way to the Little Mermiad ride.

Isla is super into climbing right now. Here she is doing a classic superhero move.

The bubble wands never get old- unless you're pushing the stroller, then they get old REALLY fast. Totally worth it though.

Both kids fell asleep on the way to the Pixar parade so we sat on the ground and had a drink.

It's a small world or "castle" as Isla called it was a favorite! Q hated it last year and promised us he was going to
Like it this year "and not cry" and he nailed it!
