Isla’s first sleepover!

And Q’s too but he was at our casa! After movie night with our quarantine-family we did a kid-switch. We took Ellie home- they did great! And Isla stayed with Ivy. They had pancakes with chocolate chips, watched Frozen 2 and walked down to the beach in matching outfits. We sure did miss her but she was on cloud 9!

Q sat down to take over the list writing and immediately asked “so how do you spell wine?” He’s my fave tonight. Oh and I got new kicks to make my runs more fun.

After weeks of trying to find a house to rent for a few days, we finally found something! Q and Isla are so excited! They immediately made “countdowns” -see the fireplace. And Isla started making a list. Check back later for a pic of the list.

Q is 7!

Another quarantine birthday is in the books. Instead of a parade, we set up the breakfast nook as an experiment room that the kids could make the biggest mess in. Then we hired a team to do a science experiment party with Q and Ellie’s friends via zoom. It was so messy but they had a blast. Definitely not what we had in mind for this sweet kid’s big day but we made the best of it. And most importantly we had a day all about Q. Want’s not to love about that? This brave, kind, funny, brilliant little dude deserves all the celebrations and love in the world!
