No Days Off

This little one works so hard- even when she doesn’t have to. She took an acro class, had a tech private where she surprised herself with her needle and auditioned for The Nutcracker with the City Ballet. She didn’t know a soul there but marched in like she owned the place. Keep it up little one!!

Lots of 8 am soccer over here

I was also anti-soccer for so long… I don't really understand the rules but it’s way more fun to watch than I expected. Kap plays in a blow up arena and I’m pretty sure there are exactly 0 rules.

Always doing something…

From the Kinder newsletter this week…

Coach PK

I think he’s finding their groove- it helps that they keep winning :)

Kap’s favorite move is the “fake-out,” ask him about it!

City Ballet Date

Isla and I had a great time at The San Diego City Ballet on Friday night. Her teacher, Geoff choreographed the first show and performed in the second and her other teacher, Arianna was the star of both. It was so cool to see all their hard work on stage. She is lucky to learn from them!!

Proud of our kind little dude!

I was a little nervous (and so was Isla) that he wouldn’t get up but he ran right up there with a big smile on his face!!

Savanna Bananas

We were so excited about this- baseball and dance, two of our biggest time/money commitments ;) with some of our best friends. Getting seats was a lottery and ours weren’t great but it was a cool experience and a great lesson in making the best of things that do t turn out to be as epic as you expected.

Not surprised one little bit….

Of course it didn’t take long for Sra. Martinez to see how special Kap is. So proud of this little dude!

I’m baaaack!

Sorry for the delay and sorry to say, you’ve missed a lot!!!

Isla spent two days in Hollywood being the star in a music video for the documentary, “Relentless” about the famous songwriter, Diane Warren and sung by Kesha. She was amazing! She kept making everyone cry and got a ton of encouragement to pursue acting at the end of the shoot. I am in awe of her! I can’t wait to share the video once it’s released.

Q is absolutely loving middle school! He’s taking all the honors classes he can and can’t stop talking about how good the food is. He made his dream travel ball team and has been playing like a pro. He also started playing soccer which is still so weird to me because he used to hate. That’s one of the things I love the most about this kid- he puts himself out there and tries new things.

and Kap started kinder, FNL and soccer! He also wants to start blogging about Grow Garden which he never stops talking about. He is loving life and definitely already understands what “being cool” is and is working hard at being identified that way. He’s still full of cuddles and sweet words- especially for his momma.
