Q’s Birthday

As always, it was impossible to gets pics during the party. Q wanted his entire class to come over to swim to celebrate his birthday- and swim they did! 20 of the kids, their families and his teacher all came! She even went swimming with the kinds!! We were a little nervous because we don’t know this crew like we know our friends but everyone had a blast and we’re so glad we broke our party template and did it Q’s way. We had a lifeguard, photo booth, piƱata, ice cream truck, water balloon fight, pizza, Hawaiian food, tons of snacks and cake of course!!!

Good idea little man and happy birthday!!

Memories

Two friends sent me memories of them holding baby Q yesterday- such a sweet little face...so much love for these girls.

Babies all over

Q’s class had a baby shower for us today. They decorated, had muffins, played games- one of which included suggesting baby names and sang lullabies. It was such a sweet thing. All the kids have so many questions about the baby and love to put their hands on my belly and hope for kicks. We sure are going to miss kinder!

Oh! And It was Q’s turn to take the baby chicks home for the night. We had to kick Corduroy out of the house but it was worth it for this big responsibilty. Let’s hope we keep them happy at the Manor.

Old Friends

One of my first friends from when I moved back to SD after college was in town with her family. Most of this old crew has moved away now but it was still great to get who is left together for a mini reunion. Isla and Tripp played “mom and dad” to baby Presley which was the cutest thing ever! We were even able to snap a couple of pics!!

Wild West Days

I volunteered at Q’s school today to help with the Wild West Trunk Show. Q got to dress up like a “party boy” and learn how they used to “court girls.” He was the cutest party boy ever!
