Isla’s first homework assignment

She begged to find time to do it before soccer practice. She took it so seriously. She was asked to fill a heart with things that are special to her heart. She begged me to draw pictures for her because she couldn’t do them perfectly. It was so hard to watch her struggle and even harder to see her so obsessed with perfection. I think we ended in a good place but we have some important things to work on this year.
