So much determination

I had an odd minute to watch Isla on one of her zoom calls the other day. Sra. Ling was having each kid spell a word before they said goodbye. Isla got hers wrong- mostly because she can’t pronounce an “L” ... don’t worry- we’re working on that. Anyway, after the call, she was so determined to learn what she did wrong that she got a tray and magnetic letters- just like Sra. Ling had and asked me to help her. When she realized she was missing some letters she needed, she got paper and markers and scissors so I could make her all the letters she needed.

I am in awe of her!
