Nothing could have prepared us for what this week was going to be like. Isla was an adorable little professional of course. “Move Your Feet” got third, “Right Now” and “Come on Everybody” got second and “Hey Mickey” got first in category!!! Both tap dances were nominated for overall awards which is a huge honor.
At the last minute, Q was invited to join the classes which also meant he could attend the banquette. These kiddos took almost 20 classes this eeek!! Q was even called out and given 2 “you inspire me” bracelets by the teachers.
I was on the big stage for the parent dance which was terrifying.
Isla got to be the “big buddy” to some of the littles.
Isla’s debut musical video with Bonnie Story was super cute too!!
Overall, the week taught them a lot more than just dance. They were brave, kind and fun even when they were exhausted!!
